Under the Akvo project listing you can find projects from trusted local field partners from across the globe that are looking for funding.

We encourage organisations or companies that are interested in funding our initial pilot projects to contact us. In the first instance, they should contact Peter van der Linde (peter[at]akvo.org). We will make sure donations will be linked directly to the local project of your choice.

An online payment system will be introduced on Akvo in the near future. We will also be introducing the ability for individuals to contribute to specific projects, which will be a service we provide for free. We expect to deliver this module towards the end of 2008.

During 2009, Akvo will introduce a modest membership fee for institutions that fund or monitor projects.
