Become a project partner
Akvo project partners come in three flavours:
Field partners
Akvo field partners implement the projects listed in Akvo, in collaboration with the local community. Our field partners have been specially vetted and selected through the Akvo partner network: all are trusted partners.

Support partners
Akvo support partners are organisations which support the field partners in different ways. They supply knowledge, information, implementation support, training, contacts, and a host of other things to the field partners.

Funding partners
Akvo funding partners supply the funds to the projects listed in Akvo. Sometimes a funding partner is also a support partner.

How to become a project partner
All Akvo field project partners are what we call "trusted partners." This means at least one of our support or finance partners has a well-established working relationship with the field project partner.
Most of our partners are well-known to Akvo staff or have worked closely with our network for a long time. Over many years our partners have built up a level of trust amongst themselves, and Akvo is tapping into that network, slowly building it out.
If you organisation is looking to become a project partner with Akvo, please read the criteria, roles and procedures for Akvo partners.
