Thankfull Daryeel Foundation is very thankfull with the funds raised for the project. We which to thank everyone who supported us with advice, funds and especially the AKVO webportal. Project optimalisation: The project's objective was intended to build 12 latrines in the Buroa region in Somaliland. The first design is adjusted during the course of time for futher optimalisation. We have studied the construction plans and how to make it more effective and efficient. So by using local materials, adjusting the size of the latrines, and using communities contribution for the construction plans we hope to construct 5 extra latrines. So the projects benefits a large number of people. Preparation: Finnally, the preparation for the project have started in the field. Meetings have been organised with the local communities and they are very enthousiast about the project. In December we have planned to start with the first film report about the current situation of the project. The film will be made for Tapps Strandvolleybal by Africa Interactive. In january the first latrined will be constructed. And we will continue to inform you how the project is running. Thank you for all the support.

On the 23rd of August the ninth TAPPS Beach Volleyball Tournament which was held in conjunction with Earth Water descended on the picturesque beachclub 'Het Strandhuis', in Wijk aan Zee. It was the biggest outdoor online media event to be held in the Netherlands this year and brought together 78 teams and over 1000 participants from across the Dutch internet media industry to raise money for clean water and sanitation projects. With this money available the budget has been covered. After consultations between Daryeel Foundation and Aqua for All the local partner in Somaliland will be able to start with the project.
