introducing sustainable sanitation technologies
2008-12-18 10:19 by Doris Möller, WECF, via web
In July 2008 the Danube Day was celebrated in Vilkovo. There was a stand introducing and promoting the technology of dry urine diverting toilets, organized by Mama-86. The technology is very appropriate for the region because of the extremely high groundwater table and lack of safe drinking water. Many households expressed their interest in obtaining a dry toilet.
