The 2 schools at Byrapura Village and in Vijaypura town have their rainwater harvesting works started. A 5000 litres rainwater sump tank with a handpump to lift the water into the mid-day meal cooking area for the Byrapura school and a 7000 litres sump tank with hand-pump at the Urdu school in Vijaypura is being done. Here is a look at the work in Byrapura school http://twitpic.com/8lt4cj. Clean water for drinking and cooking for all the students is the idea.
