How to promote an Akvo RSR user to a project editor

If you are an Akvo RSR organisation administrator you can promote other users attached to your organisation to project editor status. Project editors can edit projects created by the organisation administrator (only organisation admins can create new projects).

1. Go to the Akvo RSR Admin pages by clicking the link at the bottom of all Akvo RSR pages called Admin.

2. If you are not logged in already, Log in now.

3. You now see the "Site administration" page. Click on the User profiles link.

4. Click on the username of the user you wish to promote. The "Change user profile" page opens.

5. To promote the user, click the organisation project editor tick box seen in the picture below.

6. Click the Save button at the bottom right of the page. This Akvo RSR user is now an organisation project editor, and can edit all projects associated with the organisation.

4. Send an email to the user telling them that their Akvo RSR account has been promoted.

5. Done.
