Personal system

Any modern Macintosh with OS X 10.5 will work to access this system. All Mac laptops come configured with an iSight camera which is supported by AccessGrid 3.0 on OS X 10.5.

Configuration

There is a bug in the AccessGrid 3.0 Beta configuration which need to be fixed before you can use the Mac client.

http://lists.mcs.anl.gov/pipermail/ag-tech/2009-June/021032.html

The failure to launch is a known bug in that beta. You can work around it by editing ~/.AccessGrid3/Config/preferences, and changing this line:

multicast = True (or maybe False)

to

multicast = 0

or you can use 1 if you do have multicast available.
