We had a very good conference last week and I want to say “Thank you!” to everyone who came up to us to talk to us. We pitched Akvo hundreds of times that week and we came away with nearly hundred fifty contacts to follow up with. We got an overwhelmingly positive response and lots of good questions about some of the trickier parts of what we are trying to do. We are collecting the questions and answers in the Akvo forum, where you (soon) can read the questions which were asked at our side event as well as post further questions to us.

A special “Thanks!” to SIWI, who helped us in many ways to make our conference a success, including help with the stand and moving our session to the larger hall C.

We have a sound recording of our session “Can a Wikipedia of Water quicken the pace of development?“. You can listen to it directly 1:

…or you can download it [mp3, 47 minutes, 45 MB, right click and select Save Target/Link As...]. We are also working on a shorter version with pictures of my presentation. It should be up in the next day or two.

Thomas Bjelkeman is the founder of Akvo.
